Personal History
Alzia was born and raised on Trill to Veral and Kidan Nesle. Both of her parents were turned down to be hosts for a symbiont and from an early age, Alzia was determined to succeed where her parents had failed. Having no siblings, Alzia was her parents pride and joy and tried to support her in every endeavor, whether it was learning to fight, ballet, music, anything. Going to school with other kids on her planet, Alzia met Ellabeth when both were six years old. Ellabeth had been adopted by a human couple who decided to move to Trill after adopting Ellabeth rather than uprooting their new daughter. As both girls grew up, they slowly grew interested in Starfleet, having heard plenty of stories in school about Starfleet officers and traveling on starships. Alzia expressed her interest to her parents who in turn told her it wasn’t suitable for a girl like her. Upset at her parents lack of support, Alzia decided she would make it herself.
Throughout high school, Alzia applied herself to everything she studied and took several martial arts classes. In the meantime, she applied to be joined with a symbiont. It took several tries on the tests over her high school years but a few months after graduation, Alzia finally succeeded at achieving what she so desperately wanted. It took a bit of adjustment but she soon grew used to being joined, being able to look back on the past lives of her symbiont. Out of three other lives, only one had been in Starfleet and had been a Tactical officer. It was far from Alzia’s tastes. Another of the three had worked with the Trill Science Ministry. And the last of the three had been a talented artist whose painting habit went on into Alzia whenever she would get stressed. With the three former lives to look back on, she was confident in her abilities to make it into Starfleet Academy, despite none of them having exactly what she needed but their experience and confidence as enough. With Ellabeth behind her, with the support her parents seemed resistant on giving, Alzia was proud when she was accepted into the Academy and jumped on the earliest transport to Earth. While her parents hadn’t supported her applying to Starfleet, they were happy to let her know that they were proud of her success.

Personality: Alzia is a soft-tempered young woman who enjoys keeping active and staying fit. Whenever her stress starts building up, she takes whatever free time she has to either paint away her stress or go to the holodeck and practice fighting. She is friendly to people she works with and enjoys spending time out with her companions when the opportunity presents itself. Aside from that, Alzia takes her job and assignments very seriously, trying to do her best in them.
Sense of Humor: Alzia has an average sense of humor, finding quite a few things funny but not getting some of the more complicated jokes.
Phobias: Alzia is terrified of drowning so avoids swimming unless absolutely necessary. She also has a terrible fear of climbing, not heights; the fall is what worries her, rather then the heights.
Likes: Sunsets, foot races, painting, reading
Dislikes: Sickbay, fighting in the dark: too much of a disadvantage when you can’t tell who is with you and who your supposed to be fighting
Pet Peeves or Gripes: Gossip, people ganging up on others who can’t protect themselves
Achievements: She became a host and was accepted into Starfleet Academy
Disappointments: She was turned down three times to become a symbiont host and was not at first supported by her family to join Starfleet
Illnesses: Nothing serious, aside from regular childhood ailments
Strengths: Alzia has quick reflexes which is useful for phaser fights, she has three other lives experiences to draw from
Weaknesses: She worries about her comrades, and would put herself on the line to help them
Fears: Dying from drowning, dying from falling, letting her symbiont die
Prejudices: Cardassian’s and a slight prejudice towards Klingons and their “ridiculous honor traditions”

Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: The incident that caused her fear of climbing; she fell while rock climbing with her father and broke her arm in three places. While it was easily taken care of, the incident left Alzia with a deeply-rooted fear of climbing.
Best Time: Her years at Starfleet Academy, thus far
Most Crucial Experience: Deciding to go into Security since she was concerned about something happening to the symbiont
