Personal History
Jaina grew up in a relatively peaceful colony in the Falcon crater on Earth’s first and only moon. In school she was an average student, but a surprisingly good athlete. She excelled at running and kept this sport up all through the academy.
Her father was a cargo ship pilot who took her out on trips occasionally. Jaina loved these trips. A life of sailing through the stars and discovering new places and challenges now seemed ideal to Jaina. So once she graduated from her school she enrolled in the Security training course in Star Fleet Academy on Earth. Security seemed a perfect fit for her as it was anything but the thing she dreaded most – a desk job.
In the Academy she made firm friends with her classmates and has stayed in contact. Through the academy she also dated a few cadets, one in particular from her class (Aaron Fox) whom she very much liked. However, the relationship did not survive her year-long cadet cruise on a deep space vessel, the USS Boardman.
Once Jaina returned from her cadet cruise she sought a posting aboard the USS Drake, one of the best ships in the fleet renowned for its exploration and discovery. This was to be the beginning of an exciting new career in Star Fleet - one which she could not wait to get started.
