Deneva, also known as Deneva Prime, was the prime planet orbiting the Alpha Quadrant star Deneva.
Home to the Deneva colony and Deneva Station, this Human-inhabited planet was first charted and named by the Vulcans.
The planet is widely considered "one of the most beautiful worlds in the galaxy."
The nearest starbase is Starbase 10.

The Human colony was established in the mid-22nd century, with its main purpose being a freighting-line base for the area.

• Whatever material were mined in the asteroids were sent back to Deneva for transfer to Earth and other Federation worlds and colonies.

In late 2266, space vessels from Ingraham B brought an infestation of flying parasites.
Many people died from the infestation, including brother to James T. Kirk, Samuel.
