Personal History

Before Xavier‘s birth his parents settled in Scotland to get back to their historic roots. As a younger child Xavier would always listen to his grandfather‘s adventures in Star Fleet. Seymour Sr. a highly decorated tactical officer who served in three wars for Star Fleet dating all the way back to 2376 until his death when the Borg destroyed Starbase One. Xavier‘s grandfather served aboard the station as a dock tactical officer. Xavier took it the hardest especially when his father cursed his own dad for not retiring and stay with them after the second conflict.

He made a life long friend in the lower schools as a child by the name of John Ladnier. John and himself quickly made a name forth themselves by only two man scholar bowl team to win the country title. If asked Xavier would always stat that it was John who lead the way for the win. Outside of scholars they both had a thing for music. Xavier had a thing for trumpet, and the guitar. While John was a pianist, and a bass guitarist. His sister on the other hand had some same interests, but being a few years older than he had done more in a short period of time graduating from Cambridge University, and quickly becoming a well known earth politician on the European continent.

As the Borg were forced out of the Sol the two young men decided that a life in Star Fleet would be something to test them than being anything else. Xavier‘s father became outraged and told him that he‘d end up just like his grandfather. Xavier took that very personal and told him that he was a coward for not backing a valiant solider. A solider who everyday put on the uniform risked his life to save both family and friends. A week after their argument John, and Xavier both got their acceptance into Star Fleet Academy.

After that fateful day, father and son stop talking. Xavier just gave his father a nod, and boarded the shuttle craft that would take him to the Star Fleet academy. Taking just the few possessions that he held dearest to him. He could forgive his father for the harsh words that were said, but he knew his father couldn’t. This would lead to Xavier to being a quiet person who didn’t express his feelings.
