Personal History

Allie grew up in a large family of seven siblings on a space station. Her father was an engineer on the station and her mother was kept busy with the family needs. She had 3 older sisters, 2 older brothers, and 1 younger brother. Her parents encouraged each of their children to have their own likes. Her father taught of the children chess, but Allie was the only one who really enjoyed it. Her mother taught music lessons on the station and Allie picked up the violin, as she had nothing better to do. She had an innate talent with this instrument and her mother began pushing her to study music and voice lessons. She enjoyed them, but she also enjoyed being with her father. Puzzles that he challenged her with were solved, but not in the expected manner. She didn’t like school as she found herself arguing with the teachers about the way they solved answers. She would often find other solutions, all being correct.

Not all of her siblings followed their father into Star Fleet, only her oldest sister, Mallory, who became a science officer, and Mathew, who was still in the academy with Allie. He was studying engineering while Allie was studying computer science and physics. Mallory was the major factor in Allie attending Star Fleet, as Allie did not know what she wanted to do after school. Because Allie always looked up to Mallory, she figured it was a good idea and chose to study science, specializing in computer science and physics. She became known in the academy by fixing others equipment. Her grades weren’t the highest in the class, not for lack of ability, but lack of effort. She spent most of her time working on other cadet’s equipment issues.

Midway through her junior year in the academy, she was informed that Mallory was killed on an away mission, though she never found out what she was doing. She was angered at Star Fleet for what she thought killed her sister. Mathew kept her from quitting, though she still harbors some anger towards Star Fleet and has openly made comments about things that Star Fleet has done wrong.
