Personal History

Robert was born the only child to loving parents Sam and Brian, following a normal upbringing and schooling, Robert decided that he was going to break with family tradition and when he was old enough he walked into a Starfleet recruiting office and signed up.

He was a rather outstanding student who liked to make sure that when he did something it was done at 100% maximum effectiveness, his instructors said that whatever field he chose he would excel in it.

After his second year Rob started understanding more and more about warp fields and the mechanics involved in what make a starship work, so nearly every night he pulled an all nighters learning everything that he had been taught during that day and after the fourth and final year he was awarded valedictorian for his efforts in his engineering classes, he did well in the other classes.

He was assigned after graduation to the Deep Space exploration vessel USS Baton Rouge, his department chief expressed that he was a natural when it came to engineering and he quickly made his way up the chain of command. After the end of the exploration mission and the ship returned to starbase, Robert was advised by his department chief that he should attempt to broaden his knowledge and experiences by trying and serve on another vessel.
