The Babel Conference was a Federation large diplomatic conference, held in 2268. It took place a the neutral planet, with the code-name "Babel."
A total 114 delegates attended the conference, representing planets including Earth, Vulcan, Tellar, and Andoria.
The intention of the conference was to finalize the admittance of Coridan into the United Federation of Planets.
Despite several minor quarrels between the two governments, Vulcan spoke in favor of Coridan's admittance.
The outcome resulted in a number of new Federation resolutions towards maintaining peace throughout the region.
