B'omar Sovereignty

The B'omar Sovereignty is the political entity of the isolationist B'omar people, located in the Delta Quadrant.

B'omar territory contained a few populated systems, which were well-traveled by both their military and civilian vessels.

The Sovereignty claimed to monitor "every particle" that entered their space. Their claim was that they used a sophisticated perimeter grid, which dealt harshly with all intruders.

In 2374, the USS Voyager visited this system, though they were met with unwelcome attitudes.

Captain Janeway and her crew were told to go around their territory, which added up to roughly three months' time.

• The vessel was required to stay five light years' distance from the border, with any less being seen as an act of aggression.
