Tanya was born in Khemlenytskyi, Ukraine. When she was just born her father left her and her mother behind, he was an alcoholic who gambled away most of their money, although he had been of noble blood, he possessed nothing but a lust for liquor. He did leave her with her title, Knyaz, which means as much as Lady in European society. It was in the summer after her fifth birthday that her mother married for a second time and with it, moved to the man’s ranch in Canada. The young Tanya easily adapted to the changes and enjoyed the life of wealth her new daddy offered her. She became a typical high school cheerleader type of girl with a country twist. Although she did was not privately schooled as her younger sister was, her knowledge levels are pretty high. The relation between both sisters is really good.
Tanya broke her neck on her 18th birthday due to an accident on a jumping tournament with her horse, Trooper. She made a full recovery yet grew scared of horse riding. She never rode one again. After half a year of full pelt revalidation, she decided to travel the world a bit. In Europe, she met a boy with whom she had a serious relation. His uncle owned a private Spacecraft piloting school.
She has her Private School Flying License types CE23-R (Regular) & CE23-H (Heavy) and CE23-L&DG (Liquids and Dangerous Goods). She also has her engineering diploma’s Ship-Technical Basic & Advanced.
On that school, Tanya got her flying license and got herself a job at one of the leading space freighter companies in the Federation. It was called Stardust Exodus. Her first position was as a co-pilot of the small freighter, ‘Sparrow.’ After a few years, she also worked on the ‘Mocking Bird.’ After she gained some more experience, she worked on the large bulk carriers ‘Gambler’ and the even larger ‘The Delegation Prince.’
A year ago, she was appointed First Officer on the ‘Indefatigable’, a heavy bulk carrier. During a routine job, her path crossed the location of a recent Krynar attack. It was that what she witnessed there that made her blood boil and it was that which made her offer her services to Star Fleet instead of the ‘Dust Company.’ The fact that her younger sister was also in the Fleet only strengthened her decision.
She followed a three-month conversion program at Starfleet Academy, which taught her the basics of Starfleet procedures, routines, communications and the additional tactical knowledge that she needed with an emphasis on maneuvers and weaponry. At the end of the course, she was promoted to Lieutenant (JG) and joined the Tactical Department of the USS Ozaki.
Hobbies and Pastimes: She likes to hang out with the popular people… always trying to get VIP tickets and such. Never misses out on parties and doesn’t mind crashing one if she happened to be uninvited. Although she would never admit it, she would love to ride horses again. Other than that, she is a big fan of beauty parlors. She is interested in politics and likes to debate. She works out in a gym with a personal coach if possible.
Short-Term Goals: Defend Earth, adapt to Star Fleet protocols.
Long-Term Goals: Defend Earth and her colonies. Run for president.
Personality: A genuine bitch with a sharp tongue. Although Tanya can be friendly at times as well… she tends to be very gentle with people she respects, likes or if she thinks a good relation with that particular individual can get her a better position. She is also a quick learner and a person whom you communicate with easily, when she allows it.
Sense of Humor: What is humour? If she has any, it is mainly sarcastic or a little offensive anyway.
Phobias: Being disliked or unnoticed. Dirt. Being left alone to take care of a baby.
Likes: Speed, money and influence, lots of money and influence, even more money and influence.
Dislikes: Tramps, poor people, ugly people, smelly people, perhaps even people in general, children.
Pet Peeves or Gripes: None.
Bad Habits or Vices: She can be plain mean for no reason at all. Tends to look down on people with lesser heritage or wealth such as enlisted staff. She sees everything in life as a competition for either fame, space, money or love.
Achievements: Nothing in particular.
Disappointments: Scot Davis broke up with her after she told him she did not want to have kids.
Illnesses: None known.
Strengths: Very high standards; never late, superb appearance, very confident.
Weaknesses: Very high standards; her snotty attitude makes it impossible to keep healthy friendships alive. Her love for her sister.
Fears: Losing her family.
Prejudices: Tanya thinks that people who do charity work only do it for their own status. She believes money can get you anything.
Friends: Vitaly, a boy whom she met when she just moved to Canada who also was born in Ukraine and with whom she studied English.
Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: Falling off her horse and breaking her neck.
Best Time: The High School Prom when ‘Scott—the Hunk—Davis’ asked her to dance.
Most Crucial Experience: Witnessing the suffering of humans after a Krynar attack.
Role Model: Captain Tyra Crawford.
