Angosia III is the inhabited third planet of the Angosia system.
The planet has several moons, including Lunar V.
Angosia III is the homeworld of the Angosians, a warp-capable humanoid species.
In 2366, the Angosian government petitioned for membership in the Federation, and the USS Enterprise-D was dispatched to conduct a follow-up visit. During this visit, it was learned that the Angosian government unduly held Tarsian War veterans as prisoners on Lunar V and the petition for Federation membership was postponed.
It is safe to assume that by Federation Space time, the Angosians have resolved their conflict and are part of the Federation.
