William Anderson, Bill to those close to him was born on Earth at the beginning of a new era for Earth and its inhabitants. During his childhood he looked up at the stars and knew that he wanted to become an explorer. He has seen many historic events during his life from the dedication of the Warp 5 complex and the signing of the Traité d'Unification (External Link). During his 30+ year career (10 years with United Nations Star Fleet before transitioning with the rest of the planets space agencies to United Earth Star Fleet) he has proved himself time and again eventually rising to the rank of Admiral in 2154 when he was promoted to Chief of Star Fleet Operations.
Personal History
Born on Earth Tuesday October 3rd 2102 to Deana (A writer), and Baxter Anderson (A college professor), William Henry Anderson has had a full and exciting life. He excelled at his early schooling and through late night talks with his father he became fascinated with the stars and exploring. Dedicating his life to getting out there he graduated top of his class and was accepted into the United Nations Star Fleet at the age of 18. Graduating with honours he was assigned to work on some of Earths deepest scientific explorers, reaching out further than any human had done in the past. In 2130 his ship had finished its tour and managed to make it back to Earth for the signing of the Traité d'Unification which unified all nations on Earth under one government. He was now in United Earths Star Fleet and this is where he met his lifelong friend Maxwell Forrest. Rising through the ranks he was promoted to the Commanding Officer of the USS Drake in 2140.
While aboard the Drake he distinguished himself. Following successful first contact with the Rizelli Anderson was promoted to Rear Admiral and transferred to Star Fleet Command. Following the death of Admiral Maxwell Forrest, Anderson was promoted to Admiral and assumed the position of Chief of Star Fleet Operations.
