Personal History

Jace and Venser are the only two children of Kay and Michael Ajani. When the twins were born their mother decided to retire from Star Fleet, she did not want her children raised on a Starship. When the twins turned ten their father had taken a position at Star Fleet so he could be home with his wife and kids, Jace was happy he had returned but Venser wanted nothing to do with his father since his father choose to stay on his Starship and abandon his kids. Jace's father taught them how to play a game called Magic the Gathering, he knew how much the kids loved the mythical creatures that the game used.

During high school Jace and Venser started to drift apart, since Jace never blamed his father and always defended his father when Venser got angry about Starfleet. Venser had moved out of the house and in with their grandparents, and Jace did not see him as much as he wanted to. When his senior year came to and end he talked his brother into going to Montana to go camping with their father. During the camping trip Jace had told Venser that he had plans to go to the academy, Venser was not happy with this and left the campsite late at night to be alone. Jace feeling he had to explain to his brother why he had made the decision had followed only to see a bear attack his brother with out thinking Jace jumped at his brother pushing him out of the way. He then fired a small phaser he had at the bear to scare it away. His brother only ended up with a scar from the claw of the bear, Venser decided to keep the wound to remind him of his stupidity and Jace got a tattoo on his left arm of a bear claw digging into the skin to remind him of his brother.

Before Jace left for the academy Venser had approached him and told him that he had made amends with their father and that he respected Jace's decision. While at the Academy he major in Engineering and Tactical. He minored in Advanced ship system design. Jace was always studying and pushing himself to the limits. The only time he slowed down was when he met his best friend K'Ator. K'Ator was a Klingon he tought Jace how to speak Klingon and how to fight with a Bat'leths. Though he still has problems with the Klingon language he has become quite good with a Bat'leth. Shortly after the beginning of his second year Jace's mother had passed away from natural causes. After the funeral Venser had told Jace that their mother had told him that she told their father not to retire she wanted him to finish his career, and now Venser had realized what Starfleet had meant to her and that he would be starting at the Academy at the next semester, cause he wanted to make a difference. During the rest of his time at the academy he began studying different subjects advanced tactical procedures and security procedures he wanted to know it all. He continued to train with K'Ator and when Venser had made it to the Academy he began to help Venser with his studies.
