Personal History

Sean was born to a middle-class family in a non-descript London suburb. He had the benefits of an excellent education and supportive family, but the only thing that ever ignited his passions was engineering.

He cut his teeth as a teenager working on hovercars, but one day his father brought him a 1997 Lotus Elise that had been found in a sealed container. Sean worked on the ancient car day and night until it was finished, and from that moment on his career path was decided. He had always wanted to help people and make a difference to the galaxy, and as a Star Fleet Engineer he had an opportunity to do that as well as live his dream and work with engines on a bigger scale.

After graduating from the Academy, Sean served on the USS Liverpool and worked his way up from Midshipman. He put in ridiculous amounts of hours, working double shifts regularly to keep the frigate running and gaining rank at the same time.

He transferred to the USS Drake after the battle at Starbase 157. The light cruiser lost a lot of specialist engineers and Sean’s inside-out knowledge of warp engines would be invaluable. For his part, Toby really couldn’t wait to get his hands on the Drake’s advanced, high-powered nacelles.
