Personal History

Megan, ‘Adiri’ was born in a colony called TSCC-293-01. She was often nicknamed Adiri for the location of the colony where she hails from, which was on the Saturn moon, Titan.

Her father, Chris worked there as a journalist and her mother was a senior constable. Megan’s dad was a colonial child, being born and raised at TSCC-291-01. Megan’s mother, Joni was born and bred at earth and has worked in law enforcement since her graduation. She got assigned to the colony to keep up the standards of Federation law and one day ended up arresting her future husband for brawling. In the end it appeared she had locked up the wrong person but the damage had already been done, Chris had fallen madly in love with her, fortunately Joni felt the same way. Barely two months later they got married and after two years Megan was born. It was at the end of Joni’s time at the TSCC-293-01 placement that Chris left the colony for the first time. Together they bought an apartment in one of the highest buildings of San Francisco, where Joni’s next assignment was. Megan was 8 years old when they arrived.

Megan adjusted to life on earth quickly and was especially keen on the birds. Although she never felt completely at ease in forests, parks and other nature areas. She had never heard or seen animals or insects before getting to earth and enjoyed their singing tremendously but also feared a lot of creatures. But the birds were special to her and she has had pet birds herself ever since. She noticed she could sing with the birds and spend all her spare time in getting lessons to get better with music and singing. As she passed through high school her singing was very important. Fortunately she had little trouble combining both. It wasn’t long before she participated in talent shows and had guest rolls in tv- series. She won a couple of singing competitions, even a major one that was broadcasted on several planets. Yet a life as a pop-star was not something Megan desired. She had had a dream since she was 10 years old and it only got stronger as she grew up. She wanted to be an intelligence agent, just like her heroes from the TV-show Federation Angels.

Megan turned 17 just before her education at the academy started. At the academy Megan majored in tactical. Her interest in joining an Intel unit, once, guided her towards law as a second major. That she also chose subjects as Advanced Recon, Covert & Intel operations as well as Advanced military strategies was not that surprising.

At the helm of smaller craft she is average and navigation is not her strong point. She is easily distracted and being focused for longer times can be troublesome. Looking at her management style her administration is disastrous, reports, if made at all, are often sloppy or rushed. She has an easy way of handling people matters though. Megan has developed a shopping addiction and an exclusive taste which has led to problems with her financial balance.

Hobbies and Pastimes: Performing, acting, dancing! This girl is the proud winner of a tv-show which was a singing competition between singing talents. She is always happy when there is an occasion to sing but decided the life of a singer was to shallow for her. Sees it as a mere hobby. She has also done some acting jobs as a child; at 14 she had a guest roll in her favorite series called “Federation Angels”. Which has inspired her to go to Starfleet Academy and affected why she choose particular minors. She also likes to party and is addicted to shopping. Drinks a lot too, yet can stand the liquor pretty good.
Short-Term Goals: Getting a positive performance report on her first period of her new assignment.

Personality: Megan is a very kind person, always willing to help. She is a little bit of a loose projectile when she thinks something is a good idea, can be pretty headstrong and stubborn. She is dead honest but can twist and turn with words like no other. She is also a good actress which she uses occasionally to get her way. Megan doesn’t see herself as a celebrity, yet can rely on it to get things done her way ever so often.

Bad Habits or Vices: Can be over suspicious. Megan is also easily distracted, if you ask her to do something and then something else; she is so focused on the latter that she forgets the other task. Regularly spends more money than she has. Neglects administration in both private and work related matters.
Achievements: Winning a large talent hunt on tv.
Disappointments: Finding out her now ex- boyfriend said negative things about her in the media.
Illnesses: Hypersensitivity for (bright) lights. Bright lights, can turn her blind temporarily if, for example, a flashlight is held in her face for a few minutes, she can lose her sight for over an hour. Wearing her shaded glasses helps preventing these issues. Her sight has always returned. Megan has had several treatments for it but the problem keeps returning. It might be some gene issue, as more people from the Titan colonies have the same problem. The most likely cause is lack of more natural (bright) lights at younger ages.
Strengths: Her honesty is absolutely a credit to her person.
Weaknesses: Physically she is not really fit or strong, had to redo some athletic tests but passed them in the end. Megan is easily offended. Thinks everything everyone says or does is about her. Megan cannot swim adequately.
Fears: Direct Sunlight, being captured and hurt by aliens, to fail, death, oceans, rivers, seas and lakes, being attack by animals whenever they get near.

Off Duty Clothing Tastes: The latest fashion from earth hangs in her closets. Her outfits are often accompanied by eye-catching jewelry and other accessories.
Distinguishing Features: Her eye color matches her pale skin but does hold a strong contrast with her natural hair color, it sometimes may make her look sickly when without make- up. Also has a piercing on her left eyebrow and multiple earrings in her left ear. She often wears shaded glasses as her eyes have problems adjusting to bright light, fortunately people think that it is a fashion statement and are not aware of her deficiency.
Pets: 2 Strawberry finches named Martini & Jackie D.
Friends: Tayla Everton (25) Tayla was the other finalist during a big singing competition and the two have been inseparable ever since. They have even bought an apartment together and staged together for a couple of performances which includes a few charity events.
